A sweet friend named Heidi had the sleeve surgery I had last February. She's almost 100 pounds slimmer at goal and really is the one who got me thinking about all this.
Anyway - I was talking about not being scared at all and she said:
I wasn't scared either - I felt full of hope. Kind of like doing IVF, you know?
